Brocade takes pride in providing onsite training to our customers, even in parts of the world where life itself is at risk. A Brocade training recently finished up in the Northwest edge of the Kuwaiti desert, about 40 km from the Iraq border. This site is home to one of the world’s largest live fire training grounds, as well as home to a new deployment of Brocade ICX Switches.

The base facility where Brian, the instructor, was set to teach wasn’t the average classroom. Brian was given keys to a tent and told that was where the training would take place. As men and women of the armed forces arrived for training and took their seats, he instantly felt at home.

The audience spanned from highly seasoned admins to entry level engineers. At the end of the week, there were many comments about how great the training had been and how it has expanded their perspective to include new solutions, giving them a deeper understanding of how networks function.

The audience left with not only with an understanding of the platform, but with enthusiasm about taking their Brocade Certified Network Professional exams. A couple of the students went out of their way the following week to let Brian know that they had already became the newest additions to the BCNP-certified community.

Brocade offers a wide variety of instructor-led training, delivered by Brocade Authorized Training Partners (ATPs) and is eager to teach our customers around the world about the future of networking.
