How to update the port-id of an entire slot?

[ Edited ]

Hello Community

I have a switch where somebody created/configured a sequence of slots using different addresses and I would like to update them to have a sequence between 00-7F, today this switch have...

slot1   00-1f
slot2   40-5f
slot7   80-9f
slot8   c0-df

I would like to reconfigure to:

slot2   20-3f
slot7   40-5f
slot8   60-7f

Is it possible do it?  If so, is it possible doing by a command line thru telnet?

I already tried PORTADDRESS --BIND .... but doesn't work.

SWB2:FID128:admin> portaddress --bind 2/0 2000
portAddress --bind failed:
The indicated partition does not support this operation.

I already tried to put the blade disabled, but still not working.

SWB2:FID128:admin> portaddress --show 2/0
Index Slot Port  Area     Mode     User_bound
================================================
  64    2    0  0x4000    8 bit      -
SWB2:FID128:admin> portaddress --unbind 2/0
portAddress --unbind failed:
The indicated partition does not support this operation.

SWB2:FID128:admin> portdisable 2/0
SWB2:FID128:admin> portaddress --bind 2/0 2000
portAddress --bind failed:
The indicated partition does not support this operation.

Seems that it doesn't recognize any command related with these blade.

Re: How to update the port-id of an entire slot?

Hi community,

I already foung the issue, it was previously configured as addressing mode (0) instead (1). After update it from 0 to 1, everything were configured back as expected.
