do you have any idea what I should try next to get to an BNA version of 12.3.x or 12.4.x? You mentioned something about "finding more indicate release"...

Direct Upgrade from 12.2.0 to 12.4.4 is supported, but I would suggest to Upgrade first to next higher release 12.3.4.
Avoid to use 12.3.2 or 12.3.3

i tried an installation of 12.3.4 but it fails with the same error message. Here is a code snippet from the cw.log:

Ok, let me check. I think ( or better to say I'm quite sure ) this is the same problem with the ODBC, related to such Cross-flavor Upgrade.
have be patience, I'll test here and coming back.

im having the same issue. Im trying to upgrade from 220.127.116.11 to 12.3.4.
How did you solve this ? Once you sucfesfully upgrade to 12.2.0, you can then upgrade from 12.2.0 to 12.3.4 ?

I didn't find any solution up to now. Upgrade to 12.2.0 was successfull but no way of getting further.
I tried an upgrade to:
ALL of them failed with the same error. To be honest I thought about a complete new installation because I'm stuck right now.

as we discussed by phone time ago, I'm 99,999% quite sure, the native installation was made with BNA OEM Release.
in such case, some step are necessary in order to upgrade ( called Cross-Flower migration ) to next higher Brocade Native release.

In the meantime I did a new installation of 14.1.1 because it took me too long letting the purchase department dig for the support contracts and lots of tries with different installations, checking logs and so on.
Maybe someone with a "easy to find" support contract can try again but I was tired of this. Also our old installation was not 100% complete regarding fabric discovery and so I decided to make a new installation.
