Having trouble getting SDN-Controller-2.1.0-Software.tgz download to install on AWS EC2 using either redhat or ubuntu OS. Controller appears to install and statrt just fine. UI appears tocome up fine on port 9001 but does not allow login with admin/admin. Message is to check connectivity.
Any one seen this?

the UI connects to port 8181 REST API when trying to login. Make sure this port isn't blocked by a firewall on the server or in front of it. Second, if your server is behind a dedicated firewall using NAT you need to change the controller IP config for the the UX interface to reflect the NAT IP intead of the local one.

It takes 3 to 4 minutes (depending on your machine) to get signed-in.
After controller starts, wait for few minutes and then you will be able to log in to topology manager GUI and apidoc/explorer and restconf/modules.
