Unable to write flows in Mlxe Router Via Controller?

Hi all,

 

 

I am working on Brocade Mlxe 4 (s/w = 5.8 ) on openflow implementation.

Whenever i try to write a flow it gives me  an error as:

"Received error message: xid=1233650742 type=OFPET_FLOW_MOD_FAILED (5) code=OFPFMFC_TABLE_FULL (1)"

my Switch Details are as follows:

Flow Table is fulll even when there is no flow written in the switch. 

Can anyone Guide me in the Correct configuration of tables in the device?

Hi Yogesh,

 

I suspect that you have not added cam entries to the line-card for your openflow port type.

 

Two questions:

 1. What is the port type your are using? (layer2, layer23, layer3)

 2. Can you provide the output of 'show default values'?

Thanks That Worked. However i am unable to work on layer23 mode as it says that the Mlxe does not supports it.

Hi Yogesh,

 

Sorry for the late reply.

 

As you probably figured out from the message it looks like the 24x1GbE & 4x10GbE currently only support layer2 or layer3 openflow port types. For the layer23 openflow ports you'd need a module like 8x10GbE or 20x10GbE.

Thanks to the support of our Brocade and Initel friends. They found the solution to my problem.

 

We had to change:
